From Purdue Northwest Athletics
The #19 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey swept Roosevelt in a home-and-home series this past weekend shutting out the Lakers on Thursday, 4-0, and then earning a dominant road victory, 11-1.

Game 1
Inside The Numbers
Senior Craig Herman (Bloomington, Minn./Bloomington Kennedy HS) led the Pride with two goals on the night.
Junior Noah Murphy (Faribault, Minn./) and freshman Mason Cole (Saginaw, Mich.) each added one goal for Purdue Northwest.
Freshman Baden Powell (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) chipped in two assists during the game.
Junior Isaac Hyde (Ft. Wayne, Ind./) played 60 minutes between the pipes for the Pride and recorded 24 saves to earn his first shutout win of the season.
Harber Cassel started in goal for the Lakers playing all 60 minutes in goal and made 55 saves.
The Breakdown
Purdue Northwest scored one goal in the first period to go up 1-0.
The Pride added their second goal in the second to take a 2-0 advantage heading into the third.
Herman scored both of his goals in the third period to give the Pride 4-0 lead.
Purdue Northwest held on for the shutout win in the end, 4-0, after tremendous goal-keeping and defensive play.
The Pride outshot Roosevelt, 55-24.

Inside The Numbers
Clough led the Pride on the night scoring two goals and dishing out three assists.
Cole and sophomore RJ Swaw (Orland Park, Ill./) each added two goals during the game for Purdue Northwest.
Sophomore Chase Solberg (Anchorage, Alaska/), sophomore Ryan Kerr (Redford, Mich./), junior Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich./), and Cole all notched one goal and one assist.
Freshman Carson Finney (Holt, Mich.) chipped in three assists during the contest.
Junior Isaac Hyde (Ft. Wayne, Ind./) started the first 52 minutes for the Pride making 23 total saves and grabbing the win.
Sophomore Luke Buza (Midland, Mich./) played the final eight minutes for Purdue Northwest in goal and made two saves.
Danny Bdzoch led Roosevelt scoring their lone goal.
Cassel started once again in goal for the Lakers playing the first 46 minutes and made 35 saves while giving up seven goals.
The Breakdown
Purdue Northwest started fast grabbing three goals in the first period to take an early 3-0 lead.
During the second period, the Pride added three goals and the Lakers scored one to make the score in favor of Purdue Northwest, 6-1.
The Pride lit up the third period tallying five goals and ending the game with a dominant 11-1 victory.
Purdue Northwest ended the game outshooting the Lakers, 55-26.
