Findlay Toyota Center is proud to host the 2nd Annual Grand Canyon College Hockey Classic on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Arizona’s ACHA Division 1 rivals, Grand Canyon University Lopes and the Arizona State University Sun Devils, will face off at the Community Ice Rink for an exciting night of college hockey action. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with puck drop at 7:35 PM.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Dr. Raber and Dr. Mortenson Pediatric Dentistry, students in grades K–8 will receive school vouchers for free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. The first 1,000 vouchers redeemed will also include a free hot dog and soda, making this a fun and affordable family outing.
General admission tickets are $24, with additional special offers available:

Satish “Coach Catfish” Athelli, former Arizona Sundogs staff member and current Director of Business Development at Findlay Toyota Center, shared his excitement: “Hosting these ACHA Division 1 hockey teams here in Prescott Valley is an incredible honor. We’re thrilled to bring hockey back for a night and hope to see families, students, and hockey fans come out and enjoy this community event.”
In tribute to local hockey history, GCU players will wear commemorative patches honoring the Arizona Sundogs, the former CHL team that once called Prescott Valley home. Fans can also participate in a silent auction for game-worn jerseys, a rare chance to take home a piece of local hockey legacy.
Special Game-Day Highlights
Pastor Ronnie James of The Flock Church will perform the National Anthem on electric guitar.
Following the game, The Flock Church, Pastor Ronnie, and GCU staff and players will host a post-game event at the arena, with GCU athletes sharing their testimonies. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 22nd at the Findlay Toyota Center box office and online at FindlayToyotaCenter.com.
