M2 Announces National Player of the Year

Troy, Mich. (March 13,2023):  The American Collegiate Hockey Association is proud to announce the 2022/2023 Men's Division 2 National Player of the Year.  A list of the Regional and National awards can be found on the M2 Awards page.

2023 National Player of the Year: Ian Malcolmson

This year's award goes to Concordia University of Wisconsin Junior Forward, Ian Malcolmson.  The Waukesha, WI. native helped the Falcons to a 28-6-1 record and the #3 seed in the Central Region.  Malcomson, averaged 2.11 points a game, finishing the year with 76 points (22 G, 54 A).  Malcomson finished the season ranked 3rd nationally in Points, and led all Men's Division 2 in Assists.

Ian also was selected the National All-Athletic First Team, All-Central Region First Team and Central Region Player of the Year. This is the first National Player of the Year honor for Concordia University of Wisconsin.
