After a stellar ACHA head coaching career at Davenport University, including four straight National Championships from 2007-2011, Paul Lowden was elected as Men’s Division 2 Vice-President in 2016.

Lowden served as Head Coach for the Panthers from 2002 – 2011 before stepping down to focus his time and attention on his current duties as Director of Athletics at Davenport University.

At Davenport, Lowden was instrumental of the Panthers seeking full-time membership in NCAA Division II as members of the GLIAC conference. The Panthers currently have 23 varsity sports, 6 spirit teams, one Co-ed sport and 10 non-varsity teams among 7 sports. When he took over as the Director of Athletics in 2002, the school only had two sports.

Lowden resides in Ada, Michigan with his wife Lisa. The couple have three children, daughters Kristyn, Kaitlyn and their son Kyler.
