The Granite City Lumberjacks of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Micah Saxon has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Arkansas (Fayetteville, Arkansas).
Saxon has spent two seasons in the NA3HL. In 2024-2025 he played for the Wausau Cyclones. He joined the Lumberjacks for the 2025-2026 season, which was his most successful season. He had 52 points during the regular season, plus an additional ten points throughout the playoffs and championship.
Saxon had 17 goals and 47 assists throughout the entire season and post season.
Saxon spent brief time in the NAHL during the 2024-2025 season as well. He played two games for the Rochester Jr. Americans.
His best performance this season was on Feb. 13 against the Alexandria Blizzard. He had three points, consisting of one goal and two assists to aid the Lumberjacks in a 6-1 victory.
Saxon was a part of the 2026 Fraser Cup Championship winning team.
Saxon is one of seven players from the Granite City Lumberjacks to make a college commitment this season.
