HOCKEYSTICKMAN NAMED AS THE PREFERRED HOCKEY STICK AND EQUIPMENT PARTNER OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGIATE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
A Partnership Built On Shared Values
TROY, MI (August 21, 2025) – The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), the governing body for non‐NCAA men’s and women’s hockey in the United States, today announced HockeyStickMan, based in Toronto, Ontario, is the “Preferred Hockey Stick and Equipment Partner of the ACHA. The collaboration between the ACHA and HockeyStickMan is based on a shared passion for the game of hockey and a commitment to making high-quality equipment more affordable and accessible to student-athletes across the country.
Founded by the Walsh family—right on their farm with a backyard rink—HockeyStickMan was built on the values of family, passion, and a love for the game. Having experienced the game firsthand at every level, the Walsh family understands the financial challenges that come with playing hockey. HockeyStickMan’s mission is simple: to make high-quality hockey sticks and gear more affordable and accessible to players and families across North America. “Built by Family, Driven by Passion,” HockeyStickMan’s belief is that no player should be priced out of the sport, HockeyStickMan continues to give back to the hockey community by providing trusted equipment at unbeatable value.
“At HockeyStickMan, we believe that every player, no matter where they compete, should have access to pro-level gear at the best possible value,” said Robert Marcon, Wholesale and Partnerships Representative at HockeyStickMan. “By partnering with the ACHA, we’re helping ensure that cost is never a barrier to performance. We know how hard these players work both on and off the ice, and we want to help them succeed by putting the best sticks, gear, and apparel in their hands, without breaking their budgets.”
“We know from experience that hockey is more than just a game, it’s a community,’ said ACHA Executive Director Craig Barnett. “Over the past 35 years, the ACHA has built a strong and passionate community of players, coaches, and fans across the country. HockeyStickMan’s mission aligns perfectly with the ACHA in that it aims to support players at every level, provide them with the tools and equipment to perform their best, and continue to grow the game in a sustainable way.”
