Livonia, Mich – The Lawrence Technological University men’s AHCA Division 1 hockey team had one student-athlete earn Player of the Week honors after their two games in the Blue Devil Winter Classic this past weekend. The Blue Devils hit the ice at home against West Virginia University winning both games by a final of 9-2 and 13-1.
WHAC Player of the Week
Jr. – John Horn: Right Winger – Chesapeake, Virginia
Horn scored a hat trick to go along with four assists for a seven point night in Friday night’s victory.
He led his team in goals scored, assists, and points over the weekend.
The junior right winger has five power-play goals, two short-handed goals, and two game-winning goals this season.
The Blue Devils return to the ice on Friday, January 14th at home when they face off against the Aquinas College Saints. This game will be played at Farmington Hills Ice Arena. The puck will drop at 8 PM.
