M2 Announces National Player of the Year

The American Collegiate Hockey Association is proud to announce its 2021-2022 Men's Division 2 National Player of the Year recipient is Kyle Hayden, from University of Mary.    Mr. Hayden, in his sophomore season, compiled a 21-3-2 record for the Marauders.  His 1.70 Goals Against Average was ranked #2 nationally, while his .936 save percentage was #1 in all of Division 2.

Kyle came in the 21/22 season, already having made a huge impact in his first year in the ACHA.  He was a second team All-Athletic selection, was the winning goaltender for UMary's first National Championship, and was the First Team All- Tournament Goalie.  This is the second year in a row that a University of Mary player has been selected for this award, with the 2020-2021 award going to Zach Garrett.
