This past weekend, the NAU D3 Men’s Hockey team had the privilege of volunteering at the Flagstaff Family Food Center. During their time there, they worked alongside the dedicated staff to package and distribute hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to local families in need. The players were inspired by the food center’s commitment to ensuring no family goes hungry during the holiday season and were honored to contribute to such meaningful work. Beyond the physical tasks, the experience allowed the team to reflect on the importance of giving back and fostering a sense of community. They also appreciated the opportunity to bond as a team while making a positive impact. The players are deeply grateful for this experience and are eager to continue supporting the food center’s mission in the future.
