November 2021 W1 ACHA National Player and Goaltender of the Month announced

Many games were played during November for the Women’s Division 1 American Collegiate Hockey Association teams. Throughout the month, many players shined, but one player, and goaltender stood out the most. These two standout players have been named the November 2021 W1 ACHA  National Player and Goaltender of the Month.

 

Halle Faulkner of Adrian College has been selected as the National Goaltender of the Month for November. Faulkner, who faced opponents such as No. 1 Liberty University, Roosevelt University, and No. 6 Minot State University, emerged 2-3 during the eleventh month. Facing 153 shots, Faulkner stopped 139 for the Bulldogs. The goaltenders two wins came against Minot State and Roosevelt, and a overtime loss to Liberty. The sophomore has allowed just 13 goals against in five games. In 10 total games for Adrian, Faulkner sits at 7-3, has three shutouts, and a .928 save percentage.

 

The University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Claudia Maguire is honored as the National Player of the Month for November 2021. Maguire appeared in all three games during November, picking up 10pts (4g, 6a). Two of those goals were game-winners against the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and Grand Valley State University. The senior forward currently leads the Wolverines of Dearborn with 20 points (10g, 10a) in 11 games this season, racking up four game-winners thus far.
