The St. Louis Jr. Blues of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Joseph LoPiccolo has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Louisville (Louisville, Kentucky).
During the 2025-26 season, the Weldon Springs, Missouri native showed an impressive amount of improvement on the offensive side of the puck from the season prior.
This past season, the right-handed forward recorded 46 points in 47 games including 10 goals and 36 assists. Those numbers more than double his totals from the previous season, and leave LoPiccolo in the top-100 in total points across all players in the league.
“Joey has grown his game over the last couple of seasons, he was our team leader in points for the season,” said St. Louis Jr. Blues Head Coach Matt Ocello. “He brings an intensity to his game that shows his desire to win. Joey has the ability to jumpstart a team’s offensive play with his play around the puck and the offensive zone. We look forward to seeing him continue to develop his game at the ACHA Division I level.”
The best performances of the 2025-26 season from LoPiccolo came in back-to-back games on Oct. 11 and Oct. 17. In both of those games he recorded three points, including two goals and four assists. The Jr. Blues won both games over the Wisconsin Woodsmen.
LoPiccolo is one of nine players from the St. Louis Jr. Blues to make a college commitment this season.
