UM-Dearborn to battle Michigan State in women’s hockey fundraiser for Mott’s Children Hospital

The UM-Dearborn Women’s Hockey team is hosting its first ever cancer charity fundraiser game Nov. 5.

The team will welcome the Michigan State University club hockey team for a 1 p.m. puck drop.

The Michigan team will be wearing special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. The auction will start at $50 per jersey and run until shortly after the game.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

The game will be played at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse, 4901 Evergreen Road in Dearborn.

UM-Dearborn is currently 6-3 on the season and averaging just under 5 goals per game.

MSU is 4-2-1 on the season and is averaging about 5.5 goals per game.
