Utah Hockey is proud to announce the full schedule for the 2022 Beehive Collegiate Hockey Showcase, which will showcase the very best of the American Collegiate Hockey Association has to offer!
The showcase kicks off with two Thursday games. One matinee game on Thursday, November 17th at 4:30 PM, when Utah Women’s Division 1 (W1) hosts Montana State. Utah Men’s Division 2 (M2) begins their showcase on Thursday as well when they host Grand Canyon University at 7:30 PM.
Day two of the showcase will begin on Friday when the Beehive really gets up to speed with four games scheduled.
#16 Utah W1 kicks of the day at 1:30 PM against #10 University of Massachusetts-Amherst. UMass holds the historical series between these two after a pair of wins during the 2021-22 season.
#11 Utah M2 will then host regional rival #22 Boise State at 4:30 PM. These two teams have history that goes back to 2006, so it should prove an entertaining matchup.
The third game of the day is between #6 Michigan W1 and #31 Montana State for a true Beehive Showcase game at 5:00 PM.
Friday night’s final game will be #10 Utah M1 hosting Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL) rival, #7 Arizona State at 7:30 PM for a series that will certainly have conference and post-season implications.
Saturday’s games begin with #11 Utah M2 hosting #33 Wyoming at 1:30 PM, which will be the first meeting between these two programs. The second tilt of the day belongs to Utah W1 who will host #6 Michigan for their second meeting of the season at 4:30 PM. Big Blue hosted the Utes in Ann Arbor on October 13 and topped Utah 2-1. This may be one of the most anticipated games of the weekend. Utah M1 will again host Arizona State at 7:30 PM for their second game of the weekend.
Sunday will be the final day of the showcase and have just two games. The first will be between two Women’s Division 1 powerhouses #6 Michigan and #10 University of Massachusetts-Amherst at 10:00 AM. Utah M2 will close out the weekend against highly ranked #2 Montana State at 11:00 AM.
