BOTTINEAU, ND — The Waldorf Hockey Team lost its non-conference matchup at Dakota College at Bottineau Sunday, 3-0.

The Warriors had a strong opening to the game, outshooting the Lumberjacks by a 13-12 margin and playing the first period to a scoreless standstill.  In the second period, the game remained scoreless for another seven minutes until Zane Macdonald broke the tie with his ninth goal of the season at 7:28.

The Lumberjacks added a pair of goals in the third period to put the contest out of reach.  DCB outshot Waldorf by a 49-40 margin.
