The West Bend Power of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Aidan Callaghan has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Rhode Island (South Kingston, Rhode Island).
Callaghan spent two seasons in the NA3HL. Initially he spent the 2024-2025 season and the first part of the 2025-2026 season with the Willmar Warhawks, before joining the West Bend Power in January.
He joined the Power’s playoff run and played in five games of the Fraser Cup Playoffs, where he scored two goals, including a game winning goal.
He played in 37 total games in the 2025-2026 season for both teams. He had 53 total points including 16 goals and 37 assists.
“Aidan Callaghan’s game is built on strength, effort, and reliability. He competes with purpose every shift and continues to grow into a complete impact player,” said Power Head Coach Jason Woods.
The best performance from Callaghan came on Oct. 31, where he had three points consisting of two goals and one assist. He scored the game winning goal over the Mason City Toros in a 5-4 victory.
Callaghan is one of four players from the West Bend Power to make a college commitment this season.
