2024 ACHA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING:

The 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting will be moving from our previous location of Naples, FL to Nashville, Tennessee on May 9 through May 11, 2024 at the Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport.
“Since the closing of the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club two years ago, our membership has experienced changes in what the ACHA Annual Meeting has been able to provide,” said ACHA Executive Director Craig Barnett. “We have missed the ability to participate in Coaches Education seminars, Vendor Shows, and coexisting at one property with the AHCA Convention in a facility with adequate meeting space for our needs. I feel this is the right time to change and improve the benefits that our Annual Meeting can offer our ACHA membership.”
“Nashville provides the ACHA with an opportunity to bring back some of those activities we have missed the past few years,” Barnett continued. “Being more centrally located in Nashville will hopefully make it possible for more ACHA members to attend the Annual Meeting. And I believe having the Annual Meeting in an all-in-one conference center that has very reasonably prices for hotel rooms, ample meeting space and plenty of amenities will support a productive weekend. Nashville also offers an incredible music and shopping experience with downtown only 10 minutes away. I look forward to a fresh start and location and hope our membership sees the value and potential with this move.”
The 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting will kick off on Thursday, May 9, with USA Hockey-compliant Coaching Education Programs available exclusively to ACHA coaches. The two-day USAH/ACHA CEP clinics will conclude on Friday, May 10. On Friday afternoon, the Annual ACHA Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place with a luncheon honoring the best of the ACHA during the 2023-2024 season and enshrining individuals for their contributions to the ACHA in one of two Hall of Fame categories, Builders and Players.
On Saturday, May 11, the ACHA will have a General Session Meeting in the mid-morning to discuss issues affecting the ACHA as an organization. Following a brief lunch period, the ACHA will conduct Divisional Breakout Meetings to discuss issues and concerns in each of the five divisions (three men’s divisions, two women’s divisions).
The move to Nashville will also see the return of the ACHA Vendors’ Exhibition on Friday and Saturday, where ACHA sponsors and vendor companies will have the opportunity to display their products, promote their services, and meet with ACHA team representatives over the course of two-day ACHA Vendors’ Exhibition.
The Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport will permit attendees to the 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting the opportunity to experience quiet luxury on the same property where the meetings will take place. The Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport has fine dining at the Old Hickory Grill and Hill Top Eatery as well as a full-service concierge to book attractions and activities in Music City, along with full-service Sheraton Fitness with free weights, aerobic machines, a whirlpool, locker room, and indoor and seasonal outdoor pools. The Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport has free shuttle service to and from Nashville International Airport every twenty minutes.
Attendees to the 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting staying at the Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport will also be able to utilize coach transportation provided by the ACHA on Friday and Saturday early evenings to experience all that downtown Nashville has to offer. Bridgestone Arena, historic Ryman Auditorium, and numerous celebrity restaurants lining Broadway are just a few of the incredible diversions available to keep attendees to the 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting otherwise occupied in Nashville, where the music never stops!
Registration for those wishing to attend the 2024 ACHA Annual Meeting will open in February 2024.
