21-22 Flashes Season Through 5 Games

The Kent State Men’s D3 Team is off to a 3-2 start on the season. Victories against Duquesne (7-0), Pittsburgh-Johnstown (4-0), and the latest win against West Virginia (8-3). The Flashes two losses came as CHE league games unfortunately, against Pittsburgh-Johnstown (3-4) and IUP (3-5).

HOT START

#15 Kyle Backston leads the Flashes through 5 games with 10pts (4G-6A). After Backston, #22 Donovan Palmer is close behind with 9pts (4G-5A). Rounding out the top 3 is #14 Luke Maier with 8pts (3G-5A). All are a part of a line accounting for 27 of the Flashes 61 points. Three Flashes (Negron, Sipple, and Sanchez) are tied at 5pts on the season.

Goaltending wise Flashes have gotten it done by committee with a 0.914 SAVE PERCENTAGE, posting 2 shutouts in this 5 game stretch (#31 Coyne @ DU, #30 Bovair @ UPJ)
