Levi Brewer of the Osoyoos Coyotes has signed to play for the Drury University Panthers in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1 next fall.
Brewer led the Coyotes with 33 points in 43 games and helped them qualify for the Teck Cup playoffs. This past season Brewer had more confidence with the puck allowing him to make better plays.
“I worked to improve my physical strength in the gym,” he says. “This made me able to win more puck battles. My three years with the organization helped me get this opportunity as I earned the confidence of the coaching staff to play a lot of minutes each night. They helped me achieve my goal of playing college hockey.”
Brewer believes playing for the Panthers is a great opportunity to play and continue his education.
“I’m very excited to play on a competitive team with some other great players from our league,” he says. “I am very thankful for this opportunity and cannot wait to get started.”
