(Troy, MI. 11/3/23) Grand Valley State (7-0-0) is the top ranked team in the first M3 Ranking of the 23-24 Season. 2021 & 2022 National Champion, Hope College (7-1-0) checks in at #2, while Colby College (2-0-1) enters at #3. Defending National Champion, the University of Michigan (5-0-0) is the #4 ranked team, while Michigan State (3-1-0) rounds out the Top 5.
Five conferences are represented along with several independent teams within the Top 25, with the Michigan College Hockey Conference leading the way with 8 teams. The Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association along with the North East College Hockey Association and Independent schools all have 4 representatives. The Indiana Collegiate Hockey Conference boasts 3 teams, while both the College Hockey East and Metro Collegiate Hockey Conference each have 1 representative.
