Hockey Ops Update for 11/18

With Thanksgiving in less than a week, many teams will be finishing up their games for the fall semester. With some down time coming over the next month for the ACHA programs, the Hockey Operations Department wants to give you a couple reminders to close out 2022.

Make sure your Fall Eligibility Form has been received by your Divisional Commissioner. Divisional Commissioners will be asked to reach out over the next week to teams that still have not submitted their forms.

Make sure ALL your coaching staff is completely done with their coaching requirements by 12/30/22. Reminder that anyone who had temporary approval for CEP will expire on that date. If you do not know the current status of a coach, please feel free to email Dave Kurtz (dkurtz@achahockey.org). Please note that if the coach has not been claimed in the portal, they will not appear on the report that the ACHA receives with each coach’s status.

All teams need to make sure that they have paid their ACHA dues, since the date for payment on time has passed.. Divisional Commissioners will be asked to reach out Divisional Commissioners will be asked to reach out over the next week to teams that still are listed as “Non-Paid.”

All Divisions should have a new tab on their Divisional “Drop Down” menu for Rosters soon. This will make it easier to find players and stats. It also improves the look of the website.. Please double check your roster for correct numbers and positions. Those changes, along with any others that are needed, can be done in the LeagueStats scoring system. DO NOT do them on the portal roster after it has already been approved. They will not migrate over.

As of 11/15, there are 281 unscored games in the system across the 5 Divisions. It is the home team’s responsibility to score those games in the timely manner (usually by Monday or Tuesday following the game). Here are emails to provide help:
