M2 Announces Northeast Region Coach of the Year

Troy, MI (3/2/24):  The Men's Division 2 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association is proud to announce this year's Northeast Region Coach of the Year, Bobby Rodrigue from Keene State College.

Mr. Rodrigue led the Owls to a 16-7-0-0 record this year, and the #2 seed in the Northeast Region.  This ranking was high enough to secure Keene an auto bid to the National Championship and return to the team to the tournament for the first time since 2020.  KSC went 14-7 versus teams ranked in the Top 20 in a region.

Three players on Rodrigue's team were selected to the All-Northeast Regional Teams with Will Slom and Ryan Tobeler making the 1st team and Jayce Justus being selected to the 2nd team.  Keene State also won the NECHA Patriot West regular season and NECHA Patriot playoff championships this past season.   Bobby, along with the other Regional Coaches of the Year, are the finalists for the 2023/2024 Men's Division 2 National Coach of the Year, which will be announced this month.
