ERIE, PA (WJET)–The Mercyhurst ACHA women’s ice hockey team played in the College Hockey East Playoff Championship Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Lakers took down the Ohio State Buckeyes with a final score of 3-1.
Mercyhurst claimed the CHE Women’s D-2 championship title and now advance on to the ACHA D-2 women’s national tournament, which takes place in St. Louis in March.
