Sheridan duo makes ACHA Commitment

The Sheridan Hawks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Zach Broxterman and forward Ayden Attungana have committed to play ACHA DII hockey for Maryville University.

Broxterman began his junior career in the NA3HL during the 2021-2022 season with the Badlands Sabres, where he would remain playing throughout the 2022-2023 season as well. In 45 games with the Sabres, the ‘03” netminder posted a 10-23-4-1 record with an average of 3.79 GAA and save percentage of .913.

Since making the switch to Sheridan, Broxterman had a season record of 7-12-1-2, maintaining a 4.059 GAA and .899 save percentage.

Attungana began his junior career in the NA3HL during the 2022-2023 season with the Louisiana Drillers. During his inaugural season, the Anchorage, AK native had a short stint with the Butte Cobras before playing the majority of the year with the Louisiana Drillers. Throughout 41 games, Attungana tallied 18 points.

The following year, Attungana played with the Drillers for the first 10 games of the season before finishing out his junior career with the Sheridan Hawks. With the Hawks, Attungana was just over a point per game player totaling 35 points (10 goals, 25 assists) in 34 game, his best totals to date.

Boxterman and Attungana are the fourth and fifth players to commit for Sheridan this season.
