Women’s Division 1 Announces All-Rookie Teams

Troy, MI — (April 12, 2024) The American Collegiate Hockey Association announced today the 2023-2024 All-Rookie teams for women’s division one. The All-Rookie team awards are decided on by the competition committee, which is made up of seven coaches in the division. Each conference (CCWHA, WMCH, WWCHL) provides their First All-Rookie teams, and the independent teams are able to nominate players as well.

FIRST ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
Abby Jeffers, FR, McKendree University Forward
Hilary Pearce, FR, Lindenwood University Forward
Sydney White, FR, Adrian College Forward
Amy Palaian, FR, University of Michigan-Dearborn Defense
Kali Foerster, FR, Adrian College Defense
Kenna Borso, FR, University of Michigan-Dearborn Goalie

The first team accounted for 40 goals, 83 assists and a total of 123 points. The first team goalie, Kenna Borso, played in 21 regular season games with a goals against average of 1.43, and a save percentage of 0.947.

The second team accounted for 58 goals, 48 assists for a total of 106 points. The second team goalie, Meghan Stewart, played in 8 games with a goals against average of 0.75, and a save percentage of 0.944. There are eight of our thirty-one women’s division one teams represented on the All-Rookie teams. Five of the teams represented have made the ACHA National Tournament.
