Women’s Division 2 Announces 23/24 Community Playmaker of the Year

Troy, MI. (4/26/24)- The Women's Division 2 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association is proud to announce the 2023/2024 Community Playmaker.  This award is given to a player that represents their program in the community.  

Miss Chapman is an active member of the Student-Athlete Leadership team at LTU, where she contributes to fostering a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes. She also serves as the Vice President of Social Development for the Greek Council at LTU, showcasing her commitment to enhancing the Greek Life experience on campus. 

In addition to her athletic endeavors, Chapman contributes to our LTU community in many ways. For example, she is the Vice President of Finance for the Kai Omega Rho sorority. In this role, she has demonstrated exceptional organizational and managerial skills by successfully overseeing and coordinating various events. Notably, Athena played a critical role in organizing events such as Toys for Tots, Pink the Rink for cancer awareness, the Breast Cancer 5k run, and a dunk tank to raise funds for the local Ronald McDonald House. Her dedication to philanthropy and community service is truly commendable.
