Woodsmen forward Yelle makes ACHA DII Commitment

The Wisconsin Woodsmen of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Macklin Yelle has committed to play ACHA DII hockey for the University of Kentucky.

Yelle, 19, played his first and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The future Wildcat appeared in 29 games for the Woodsmen, tallying 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists), including one game winning goal.

“This 2005 Forward from Andover, MN is a high-character player, a favorite of both fans and teammates. Yelle had a big hand in the Woodsmen making playoffs this past season.

We have no doubt that you’ll find success in this next phase. Your Woodsmen family will continue to cheer you on!”

Yelle also played in the NAPHL Fall League during the 2022-2023 season with the St.Cloud Norsemen. He is the second player to commit from the Woodsmen this season.
