From Purdue Northwest Athletics
The #11 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey shot past Northern Illinois in a weekend home-and-home series dominating the Huskies at home on Friday night, 14-2, and winning on the road on Saturday night, 6-1.

Inside The Numbers
Sophomore Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich./) led the Pride with three goals and four assists.
Junior Sam Bourdages (Hearst, Ontario/) added three goals and three assists.
Sophomore Michael Clough (Andover, Minn./) notched three goals and three assists during the game.
Sophomore Charlie Smith (Waterdown, Ontario/) and freshman Jared Topil (Lincoln, Neb.) each chipped in one goal and three assists on the night.
Sophomore Cooper Olson (Maple Grove, Minn./) played all 60 minutes in frame for the Pride and racked up 19 saves.
Rodahn Evans and Micah Maldonado each led Northern Illinois with one goal.
Three separate goalies guarded the net for the Huskies making 61 total saves.
The Breakdown
The Pride started the game fast scoring four goals in the first period to take a 4-0 lead heading into the second.
The second period saw Purdue Northwest score three goals and Northern Illinois notch their two goals with score 7-2 leading into the final period.
The Pride lit up the third period scoring seven goals to make the final score of 14-2 in the end.

Clough led the Pride with a goal and two assists.
Sophomore Noah Murphy (Faribault, Minn./), Remer, and Topil each added one goal and one assist.
Sophomore’s Hayden Masloski (Andover, Minn./) and Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa/) each chipped in one goal apiece.
Freshman Elias Johansson (Gothenburg, Sweden) played all 60 minutes in goal for the Pride and he recorded 22 saves.
Jason Kliment led the Huskies with one goal.
Caleb Cross played all 60 minutes in net for Northern Illinois and made 58 saves.
The Breakdown
Northern Illinois scored early in the first period to take 1-0 lead but the Pride answered back with two goals to reclaim the lead, 2-1, heading into the second.
Purdue Northwest scored four straight goals to end the game with a 6-1 win.
