M2 Rankings for games through Dec. 3 just released
TROY, MICH. (December 8, 2023)- The Men's Division 2 Regional Rankings for all games through December 3rd have been released. This is the Fourth of nine (9) Regional Rankings that will culminate with the Final Ranking on Tuesday, February 13th.
Central Rankings
Lindenwood and Saint Thomas continue to go back and forth for at the #1 setting up a huge matchup against each other this upcoming weekend. Adrian and Sault each rose one spot this week, both trying, along with Michigan State, to snag the first-round bye in the Regionals. Bradley University returns at #16 after falling out of the Top 20 three weeks ago.

Northeast Rankings
The NE region saw the move movement of the four areas, as 15 of the 20 teams moved this past week. Keene State College staked their claim to a National auto bid, rising above UNH this week to grab the #2 seed. Saint Anselm got their highest ranking of the season, checking in #8. There were three new teams at the bottom of the Top 20, as Merrimack, Holy Cross, and Connecticut College, all who have been ranked at various points of the year, returned at #18-#20.

Southeast Rankings
The Ohio University Bobcats continue to rise during this year, with the Bobcats now ranked #6 in the Southeast. Michigan rose to #11 after a weekend sweep of now #13 Louisville. With the return of Dayton to the Top 20, the TSCHL now leads the ACCHL in total teams in the Top 20. Only three ranked teams (FGCU, Liberty, and UPenn) are part of one of the two leagues.

West Rankings
The University of Providence has risen to new levels for the program as the Argos are now #2 in the latest West Region Rankings. Also setting new mark is Loyola Marymount. They have now gotten the highest ranking in program history, back to back weeks. The TCHC has two new teams in the Top 20, as Texas returns to the ranking #14 and Texas A&M makes it's first appearance of the year.

The rankings will be released weekly on Thursdays at 6pm EST through December 12th. They will resume on a weekly basis on January 25th and will continue until the final ranking are released on February 13th. The top two teams in each region will receive an automatic invitation to the 2024 ACHA Men's Division 2 National Championships. Teams ranked #3-#10 will receive an automatic invitation to the 2024 Men's Division 2 Regional Tournaments. Finally, four (4) teams will earn a spot in the Regional Tournaments either through a League Auto bid or as a wild card if the league does not use their respective auto bid. The 2024 Regional Tournaments will be on February 23-25th. The 2024 National Championships for Men's Division 2 will be March 11th-15th, in Saint Louis, Missouri.
