Teams ranked #3 through #16 in each region will participate in their respective Regional.  Teams that receive a conference auto-bid to Regionals but are not ranked in top 16 for their region shall be afforded a berth to Regionals and displace the lowest seeded team(s) in the top 16 for their region.

All games played at Men’s Division II Regionals will be single elimination.  The #3 and #4 seeded teams in each Regional will receive a bye on the first day of each Regional.  There will be six games on the first day of each Regional with the #5 seeded team playing the #16 seeded team, the #6 seed playing the #15 seed, etc.

For the second day of each Regional, the #3 and #4 seeded teams, along with the six winning teams from Day 1, will be reseeded to ensure the highest remaining seeds compete against the lowest remaining seeds in the four games held that day.  On the final day of each Regional, the four winning teams from Day 2 will be again reseeded to ensure the highest remaining seeds compete against the lowest remaining seeds. The two winning teams on Day 3 of each Regional will earn a berth in the ACHA Men’s Division II National Championships.

The schedule format for games at each Regional will be:

Regional Day 1 (Six Games)
