The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Tommy Foley has committed to play ACHA Division III college hockey for the University of Nebraska-Omaha (Omaha, Nebraska).
Foley spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Blizzard.
During the 2025-2026 season, Foley played in 43 games and had ten total points, consisting of four goals and six assists.
“We are super excited to see Tom move on to College hockey. He’s has developed into a college hockey player over the years with his hard work and we look forward to watching him have a great college career,” said Blizzard Head Coach Jeff Crouse.
The best performance from Foley came on Feb. 2 against the Minnesota Moose when he had one goal and two assists to aid the Blizzard in a 5-3 win over the Moose.
Foley is one of six players from the Alexandria Blizzard to make a college commitment this season.
