The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Garrett Lindsey has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Arizona State University (Tempe, Arizona).
Lindsey spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Helena Bighorns. The 2025-2026 was his best season offensively during his time in the league.
During the regular season, he recorded one goal and 14 assists, totaling 15 points.
“Garrett was a member of our organization for two seasons, and it was a pleasure to be able to coach him,” said Bighorns Head Coach Damon Hanson. “Garrett is a hard-working kid on and off the ice. We look forward to watching him grow as a player as he moves on in the next chapter of his hockey career. We, as an organization, wish Garrett all the best in the next four years at ASU!”
His best performance came on Feb. 6 against the Butte Irish. He scored one goal to help aid the Bighorns in a 6-2 home victory over the Irish.
Lindsey is one of four players from the Helena Bighorns to make a college commitment this season.
