Michigan – The anticipation reaches a fever pitch as the CCWHA proudly announces the commencement of the highly awaited 2023-24 Collegiate Women’s Ice Hockey Playoffs. As the regular season culminates, the excitement in the air is palpable and fans are gearing up to see their favorite team play in an electrifying display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship. It will be held February 23 through 25, 2024 at Crystal Field House, Burton Michigan.
Mr. Steven John “SJ” Scansaroli, Executive Commissioner along with the Divisional Commissioners, Jeremy Pallot-Behling and Maddy Maloney have commented this year’s playoffs promise to be nothing short of spectacular, featuring top-notch teams vying for supremacy on the ice and a chance to play at the National ACHA tournament in March 2024. Mr. Scansaroli commented, “This battle for the coveted championship in each of our divisions (Division I and 2) is set to unfold and hockey enthusiasts, parents, and student-athletes from everywhere can expect intense matchups, jaw-dropping goals, and heart-stopping saves”.
The Divisional Commissioners also stated, “This year’s playoffs will look very different than previous. We have worked diligently to create excitement through new partnerships, streamlining operations, increasing marketing efforts, and an atmosphere within the building of how important the playoffs are.”
As the puck drops and the quest for glory begins, the CCWHA invites all students, parents, fans, and media to join in the excitement of this epic event!
