The St. Louis Jr. Blues of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Eric Denny has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Lindenwood University.
Denny, 19, has had the opportunity to play his junior hockey close to home, spending three seasons with the St. Louis Jr. Blues. Through 94 career games, the ‘06 defenseman has recorded 64 points (18 goals, 46 assists), steadily developing his game and increasing his offensive production each season.
His impact this year has been especially noticeable, as he currently leads all St. Louis defensemen in scoring. One stretch that stood out came from late November into early December, when Denny recorded a point in four consecutive games. The run was highlighted by a three-point performance against Wausau, where he tallied a goal and two assists.
Thanks to his strong play and continued development, Denny was selected to represent the Jr. Blues at the 2026 Top Prospects Tournament, where he suited up for Team Red.
Head Coach Matt Ocello says Denny’s commitment is a reflection of the work he has put into developing his game over the years: “The coaching staff is very excited for Eric and his commitment to Lindenwood University. Eric has worked very hard over the years to develop his game in order to move to the collegiate level. Lindenwood has a great history of being one of the top hockey schools in the ACHA and their records speak for themselves. We look forward to seeing what Eric achieves during his collegiate career.”
Denny is one of four players from the Jr. Blues to make a college commitment this season.
