Troy, MI — [March 16, 2023] The American Collegiate Hockey Association announced today the 2022-2023 recipient of the Men's Division 3 Coach of the Year is Cal Stripling from the University of Michigan. Stripling and his staff will be recognized at the 2023 Award and Hall of Fame Banquet, in Bonita Springs, FL. on April 28th. The 2nd year coach led the Wolverines to a 19-5-2 record and ended the regular season ranked #3 in the Nation. Coach Stripling also was recognized as the MCHC (Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference) as their Coach of the Year after getting Michigan to the #1 Team in the East Division. This is the first time a UM coach has been recognized for this award
