The Colorado School of Mines Club Hockey team returns to home ice this weekend for a two-game set against Colorado Mesa University at the Apex Ice Arena. The Orediggers look to capitalize on their home-ice advantage and build momentum as they continue their November schedule.
Mines opens the series on Friday, November 21, at 9:45 PM, followed by a second matchup on Saturday, November 22, at 8:15 PM. Both games will take place in Arvada, where the Orediggers have played some of their strongest hockey of the season.
Colorado Mesa enters the weekend as a familiar opponent, and recent meetings between the two programs have featured tight checking, high work rates, and strong special teams play. Mines will look to lean on its disciplined defensive structure and sustained forecheck as they aim for a successful weekend on home ice.
Admission to both games is free for students and staff, providing an opportunity for the Mines community to pack the stands and bring energy to the arena for one of the team’s final home series of the semester.
Fans unable to attend can follow both matchups through the available live stream links, as Mines looks to defend home ice and put together a strong weekend against Colorado Mesa.
