BRISTOL, R.I. – After spending the past two seasons as members of the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s (ACHA) Division 2 Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA) Patriot Conference, the Roger Williams University men’s ice hockey team is set to rejoin their former home in the American South Conference.
During their last stint in the league, the Hawks took home the conference title for four straight seasons, with their first coming during the 2016-17 campaign, and closing with their fourth title in 2019-20.
“I loved playing in the American my freshman year,” said graduate goalie Brendan Serenson (West Haven, Conn.). “The rivalries within the conference carry the same weight today, and it’ll be important for us to make a statement upon our return.”
