Women’s Division II Releases Fifth Ranking of 2025-26 Season
TROY, Mich. – Feb. 25, 2026 – The American Collegiate Hockey Association’s (ACHA) Women’s Division II (W2) today announced the fifth official rankings of the 2025-2026 season. The results are based on games played and reported within the second ranking period that ended on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, between the division’s 81 member teams.
Details About W2 Rankings & Invitations to Nationals
The Women’s D2 tournament at the 2026 ACHA National Championships presented by FloHockey will take place Sunday, March 15 through Thursday, March 19 at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Invitations to Nationals will ultimately be extended to the top four ranked W2 teams in each region based on the final computer ranking of the season. The final date that games will count towards W2 rankings is Sunday, March 1. The following four conferences with at least six W2 ACHA member teams will be offered an automatic bid for their top team to the 2026 W2 National Championships: Central Collegiate Women’s Hockey Association (CCWHA), College Hockey East (CHE), Women’s Delaware Valley College Hockey Conference (DVCHC) and the Independent Women’s Club Ice Hockey League (IWCHL)
^The following teams are not eligible for the 2026 National Championships and/or have declared they will not attend Nationals: Auburn University, Kennesaw State, Lake Region State College, Loyola Maryland, Towson University, University of Tennessee, Hope College, University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin La Crosse, University of Wisconsin-Stout
