The Granite City Lumberjacks of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Coltin Wassengeso has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Arkansas (Fayetteville, Arkansas).
Wassengeso has spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Granite City Lumberjacks. His most successful season offensively was the 2025-2026 season. He recorded 47 total points for the regular season, including four goals and 43 assists. He recorded an additional seven points during the post season.
His 43 assists ranked him #4 among all defenseman in the league.
His best performance this season was on Mar. 26 during the Fraser Cup Championship tournament against the Long Beach Sharks. He had three points, consisting of two goals and one assist to aid the Lumberjacks in a 10-2 victory.
Wassengeso was a part of the 2026 Fraser Cup Championship winning team. During the championship he scored three goals and recorded two assists.
He also spent brief time in the NAHL this season. He played in two games for the Austin Bruins.
Wassengeso is one of seven players from the Granite City Lumberjacks to make a college commitment this season.
