For the first time all season, Ohio is on a three-game losing streak. After losing both of its games against Adrian last weekend, Ohio has taken a dive in the American Collegiate Hockey Association rankings. The Bobcats fell from 10th to 19th this week. Penalties were a big problem for Ohio in its 7-1 loss Friday. Ohio looks to put its focus toward three consecutive games, welcoming two different teams.

Thursday

Opponent: Robert Morris

Location: Bird Arena (Athens, Ohio)

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Series Information:

Ohio last played Robert Morris on March 9, 2020, and lost 6-2 at Bird Arena. The game was officially scheduled one day in advance and was played on a Tuesday afternoon, which was unusual timing for the Bobcats. Although Ohio outshot Robert Morris, it wasn’t able to get the goals needed to win.

Friday and Saturday

Opponent: Western Michigan

Location: Bird Arena (Athens, Ohio)

Time: 7 p.m.

How to watch: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ohiohockey/

Series Information:

The last time that Ohio played Western Michigan was in the 2009-10 season. On Nov. 6, 2009, the Bobcats won at Bird Arena 3-2. They hosted the Stallions again the next day and won by the same score. It will be an interesting series between Ohio and Western Michigan, as they haven’t faced each other in a long time. The Stallions currently have a record of 4-7-2.
